I LOVE the photos! I can't believe Sylvie wil be a year old soon. I've been following your blog almost from the start. When me, my hubby, and the hummingbird moved to the west coast last summer I remember staying in a hotel that had on and off internet service. I was so annoyed because I kept on trying to see if you had Sylvia yet and I didn't want to miss the announcement. :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels the same way about mom blogs. I started a post months ago about the the whole popularity issue but I don't know if I'll ever finish it. I've been through 3 stages when it comes to blogging.

First I didn't care if people read mine but it quickly led to wanting to be amongst the "in" crowd of bloggers but I found not all of them are what they appear to be.

Now I'm happy with my small blog and don't care about the blog stats I get although I admit it can still suck at times if I get a tiny amount of hits when I spend so much time and put my heart and soul into a post but that's just the way it goes. ;).

I used to wish that I would get a lot of comments but found I prefer it when people leave more meaningful comments (quality) rather than the quantity. :)

yay! I'm glad you're settled in and getting back to blogging. I'm always go to read your blog - whether you're "popular" or not! I actually prefer to read smaller blogs. I find a lot of the bigger ones post things just for the sake of posting, rather than actually having something meaningful (and interesting) to share.

Elle and Randalin-You ladies are 2 of my very favorite bloggers. You always (excuse the lameness) keep it real. For real. I agree with everything you both said in these comments in regard to small vs popular blogs.

I can't believe she is almost a year old! I remember when I first found "Don't Worry Baby" on TBB and met you before Slyvie. And that feels like it was just yesterday! I've been feeling the same way about blogging, like...I love it and it's fun for me but if I do it too many days in a row or start reading newest blogs on TBB it makes me feel gross. I'm easily burnt out with the whole thing these days (the popularity issue being only one of many annoyances). I'm glad you're still going, I'm not so good at reading blogs any more but when I do get around to it I'm always excited to see what you three have been up to. Congrats on the first tooth and her little sesame street romper and that 4th dress are adorable! Henry loves corn these days too and can mostly be found in his birthday suit, hanging out in the AC where it's nice and cool.
