travis and i are moving in just about 6 weeks, and i'm going to have a WHOLE HOUSE to decorate for the first time. yeah. i'm pretty excited about it. i've been bookmarking various furnishings for a while now. our plan is to furnish and decorate little by little, as we save up the money to do so. we are keeping most of our things, but are getting rid of a few big ticket items, such as our couch and bed. both have seen much better days. seeing as we have no eating area in this apartment, we are also in the market for a table and chairs. over the next few weeks i'm going to post some inspiration boards i've made up of pieces/combinations that we like. first up is the living room. a good deal of these pieces are out of our budget, but that's why it's just inspiration! on the other hand, some of them fit right in price-wise and are things we are seriously considering.

there you have it! i'm sure i'll find more and more things i love over the coming weeks, but this is what i'm digging now. i think option 2 might be my favorite.
i wanted to thank you for the comment you left on my breastfeeding post. i actually thought about you, remembering your situation, as i was posting. it's one thing to now want to breastfeed your child, but to want to and not be able to is kind of heartbreaking!
on an unrelated note, i want those library storage from target!

You're welcome! I'll say it again: kudos to you for making it so long!
I want those too, but they're are sold out! Boo! They have a similar style still in stock, but I don't like it nearly as much.

I like the senario with the gray couch the best. I think everything in that "room" looks like you and Travis.

Mariah-I can't wait either! So excited! I hope everything is well with you. I can't wait to see those beautiful girls!
Mom-Thanks. I like that one, too. #s 2, 3, and 4 are my favorites. I'm going to keep playing around with it.
