WARNING: i am about to wax poetic about a fish. napoleon (AKA nappers and napster) was our first pet together. we bought him just a few days after we moved here. he was quickly overshadowed by the purchase of our dog, auggie, a few days later. both were overshadowed by sylvie's birth less than a year later. we had a fish funeral, said a few words, and sent his lifeless, scaly corpse full-speed down the porcelain highway. napoleon, i can honestly say that you will be missed. however, i can not honestly say that we would have moved you all the way down to texas. anyway. you were a good fish. thank you for taking us into consideration and dying at an incredibly convenient time. it is my greatest hope that fish heaven is good to you. i hope you have all the stinky krill pellets you can eat and that "management" changes your water often. goodbye, dear fishy friend. adieu, aquatic acquaintance. sayonara, scaly sidekick. bye-bye, betta buddy. ciao, chum (pun intended)!
